Hybrid Contact Lenses: The best of both worlds?

July 10th, 2011

If you have astigmatism, keratoconus or other corneal ectasia, hard contact lenses have generally provided the best vision, but not always the best comfort. How would you like the comfort of a soft lens with the vision of a hard? Now you can. SynergEyes makes contact lenses with hard centers for the best vision and soft skirts for the best comfort. Two new designs have dramatically improved patients wearing experience. If you are unhappy with your vision or the comfort of your lenses, ask Dr Dugue about SynergEyes hybrid contact lenses.

Retinal Imaging: The Optomap

July 10th, 2011

In the past, to get the best view of the back of your eyes (the retina,) doctors have used drops to dilate your pupil. This leaves you blurry and light sensitive for hours. Now thanks to new instrumentation, Dr Dugue can get a better view of the back of your eyes without the annoying dilation. This makes sure your eyes are absolutely healthy with no dangerous pre-existing conditions. The test is painless and only takes a couple minutes and you can go right back to work.

For more information on the Optomap, please see the Optomap Brochure.
